Drawing on BASF 's decades of experience in flexible materials, this material is based on Elastollan thermoplastic polyurethane, synonymous with maximum reliability, consistent product quality and cost-effectiveness. Thanks to its exceptional resistance to abrasion, Ultrafuse TPU 95A is an excellent choice for wear-related applications. Parts printed with this material are characterised by high elongation at break, excellent layer adhesion and good resistance to oils and chemicals used in industry.

Advice on printing TPU-85A from BASF

Nozzle temperature: 210-230°C
Bed temperature: 40°C
Construction chamber temperature: Passive heating, closed chamber
Nozzle diameter: ≥ 0.4 mm
Bed modification: Adheres to different types of printing bed (preferably glass)
Print speed: 15-40mm/s

The TPU will generally adhere well to your tray, but it is recommended that you apply a thin layer of glue (such as the Magigoo Original) to improve the adhesion of the building plate.
