Waterproofing solution for 3D filaments

PLASTIMPERM F10 is an aqueous formulation for thermoplastics and all parts printed using 3D printing technologies. PLASTIMPERM F10 is specially formulated to make materials impermeable to water, oil and certain solvents and chemicals.

PLASTIMPERM F10 gives the treated material preventive protection against moisture, water, certain solvents and petroleum product formulations such as white spirit, limonene, ethyl acetate, acetone, etc. PLASTIMPERM F10 provides moisture resistance and water repellency for polyamides, PLA and moisture-sensitive materials.
This specific formulation does not reduce the ability of acetone to dissolveABS or limonene to dissolve HIPS. PLASTIMPERM F10 is also compatible with composite materials, ceramics and thermosetting matrices such as resins epoxies, polyurethanes and polyesters.
After drying, the product is non-film-forming and does not alter the colour or appearance of the material treated. PLASTIMPERM F10 does not change the original appearance or mechanical properties of the treated material.

Caution: After application, PLASTIFERM F10 does not allow subsequent treatments such as painting, varnishing or adhesive treatment.
