Our recommendations for use with the PolyMax

PolyMax PLA Black is compatible with all open 3D machines on the market, both 1.75 and 2.85mm.

We advise you to set your printer to an extrusion temperature of between 190 and 230°C to print this resistant PLA under optimum conditions.

A print speed of between 40 and 60mm/s and the use of a heating plate between 25 and 60°C are also recommended. A Ziflex-type buildtak is also recommended to ensure good adhesion of the first layer.

We recommend that PolyMax be stored in a box that limits exposure to humidity, such as a PolyBox containing desiccants.

How do you post-treat your 3D parts with PolyMax?

PolyMax can be easily sanded to produce smooth parts for both functional and visual prototypes.
