Use of PLA Dark Grey filament Forshape

PLA is generally used for prototyping, whether for architectural models, shape validation for manufacturers or more personal design.

This material, with a few improvements, particularly in terms of good slicer settings, can even meet certain needs for certain functional prototypes.

What we like about PLA (starch base) is that it is biodegradable and odourless.

Our recommendations for use with PLA Forshape

The PLA Dark Grey Forshape is compatible with all open 3D printers on the market in both 1.75 and 2.85mm.

We recommend that you set your printer to an extrusion temperature of between 190 and 230°C to print the PLA Forshape Dark Grey in optimum conditions. We also recommend a print speed of between 30 and 40mm/s and the use of a heating plate at between 25 and 60°C.

A range of print profiles (Raise3D, Creality and Ultimaker) are available on the manufacturer's website and as downloads to help you find the right settings to print your 3D models easily.
