Using the PLA Red filament Forshape

PLA is generally used for prototyping, whether for architectural mock-ups, shape validation for manufacturers or more personal design.

With a few improvements, particularly in terms of slicer settings, this material can even meet certain needs for certain functional prototypes.

What we like about PLA (starch base) is that it is biodegradable and odourless.

Our recommendations for use with PLA Forshape

PLA Red Forshape is compatible with all open 3D printers on the market, in both 1.75 and 2.85mm.

We recommend that you set your printer to an extrusion temperature of between 190 and 230°C to print PLA Forshape Red in optimum conditions. A print speed of between 30 and 40mm/s and the use of a heating plate at between 25 and 60°C are also recommended.

A number of print profiles (Raise3D, Creality and Ultimaker) are available on the manufacturer's website and as downloads to give you the right settings so you can print your 3D models easily.
