Use of PolyLite PETG Red

PolyLite ™ PETG Red is designed with the best raw materials to achieve advanced mechanical properties and very high quality. Its slight flexibility makes this PETG ideal for making parts that are more functional than with PLA and slightly more heat resistant (81°).

It is easy to print and has good inter-layer adhesion, preventing distortion.

PolyLite PETG Red is also used for parts subject to vibration and templates.

Easier and quicker to sand than PLA, it is ideal for obtaining design or prototype parts with a smooth surface. This is useful for obtaining high quality visual prototypes with different colours.

The PETG is one of the most widely used materials in 3D printing because of its good balance between ease of use and mechanical properties.

This PETG Red from Polymaker is an affordable, high-quality PETG compatible with most 3D printers on the market.

PolyLite PETG Red: highlights

High quality: This PETG Red filament is a premium, high quality material developed by the leading manufacturer Polymaker.

Durability and resistance: PolyLite PETG Red is used for functional applications where durability is required. Approaching the mechanical properties ofABS while being simpler, it is ideal for a multitude of applications.

Simplified post-treatment: Post-treatment of PolyLite PETG ensures ideal rendering and a smooth finish. This will be useful for prints where visual appearance is a prerequisite.

Our recommendations for use with PolyLite PETG Red

PolyLite PETG Red from Polymaker is a 3D filament that can be printed on all 3D printers equipped with a heated platen and which extrudes 1.75mm or 2.85mm filament.

3D printing with this PETG PolyLite Red is easy with an extrusion temperature of between 230 and 240°C, a platen temperature of between 70 and 80°C and a print speed of between 30 and 50mm/s.

In order to obtain optimum platen adhesion, the use of a brim, a Buildtak platen or glue is recommended.

The PETG Rouge filament is compatible with all open 3D printers equipped with a heating plate and accepting 1.75mm or 2.85mm. filament. The print profiles are also already integrated into the open filament programme of Raise3D for example, making the 3d printer/filament pair plug and play.
