Use of CoPA 6-6.6

Black Nylon CoPa 6-6.6 from Polymaker is a copolymer based on Nylon 6 and Nylon 6.6. With excellent mechanical properties and increased resistance to high temperatures (180°C), PolyMide CoPA from Polymaker is used for engineering and automotive applications.

Its excellent dimensional stability and low propensity to delamination make it a first choice material for functional parts.

CoPA 6-6.6 Black Nylon: key benefits

Robustness and durability: PolyMide Polymaker is a nylon filament with very high mechanical strength, ideal for 3D printing subject to wear and tear.

Temperature resistance: This 3D nylon filament can withstand temperatures of up to 180°C.

Warping-free printing: PolyMide CoPA has excellent inter-layer adhesion and low warping, and does not necessarily require the use of a heating plate

Our recommendations for use with PolyMide CoPA Polymaker

Nylon PolyMide CoPA can be printed at an extrusion temperature of between 250 and 265°C and at a print speed of 40 to 60mm/s. A heating plate can be used between 0 and 70°C.

Nylon is sensitive to humidity, so we recommend that you store the PolyMide CoPA reel in the PolyBox at Polymaker to ensure that this polymer can be printed.
