PolyMide PA6-GF Grey 2.85mm developed by Polymaker is a very strong , impact-resistant 3D material.
Also developed to withstand high temperatures(191°C), it can be used to make gear-type parts with excellent strength and durability.
This PA6-6 fibreglass-reinforced material is widely used for 3D printing parts in environments where temperatures can reach 190°C.
With its excellent inter-layer adhesion, this premium PA6-GF is easier than PA6 to print and retains high dimensional accuracy.
Thanks to the Warp-Free technology developed by Polymaker, this 3D thread can also be printed without a print chamber.
Resistant to high temperatures: PolyMide PA6-GF Grey from Polymaker offers high thermal resistance (191° C).
Layer adhesion: PolyMide PA6-GF Grey provides excellent layer adhesion thanks to the controlled dispersion of its Polyamide matrix.
High strength: PolyMide PA6-GF is a filament with very high rigidity and durability (Charpy: 16.5 kJ/m2).
3D printing of PolyMide PA6-GF Grey requires an extrusion temperature of between 280 and 300°C, a platen heated to between 25 and 50°C (maximum) and a print speed of 60 to 70mm/s.
3D printing of glass-fibre reinforced nylon is abrasive, so the use of an abrasion-resistant nozzle such as Solex3D with a Ruby nozzle is highly recommended. After only 100g printed, a standard nozzle can be completely damaged.
To obtain the maximum properties from your 3D part, baking the part for 2 hours in an oven is ideal.
The use of a double extrusion 3D printer for 3D printing parts with complex geometries is useful. In this case, it is preferable to use a dedicated support material of the type Polydissolve specifically designed by the same manufacturer.
Finally, we recommend storage in a dedicated box such as a PolyBox to prevent the material from absorbing moisture. If this is the case, drying at 80°C for 12 hours in a conventional oven is necessary.
This PA6-GF Grey filament is compatible with most 3D printers on the market and is available in versions 2.85mm and 2.85mm as well as 500g and 2kg.
