The PolyMide PA6-GF Grey 1.75mm, developed by the manufacturer Polymaker, is a highly solid and impact-resistant 3D printing material.
Also designed to withstand high temperatures (191°C), it allows for the production of functional parts like gears with excellent strength and durability.
This glass fiber reinforced PA6-6 material is widely used for 3D printing parts operating in environments where temperatures reach up to 190°C.
Featuring excellent interlayer adhesion, this premium PA6-GF is easier to print than standard PA6 and retains high dimensional accuracy.
Thanks to the Warp-Free technology developed by Polymaker, this filament is printable without the need for an enclosed print chamber.
High temperature resistance: The PolyMide PA6-GF Grey from Polymaker offers excellent thermal resistance (191°C).
Layer adhesion: The PolyMide PA6-GF Grey ensures excellent layer adhesion thanks to a well-controlled dispersion of its polyamide matrix.
High strength: PolyMide PA6-GF is a filament with extremely high rigidity and significant durability (Charpy: 16.5 kJ/m2).
3D printing with PolyMide PA6-GF Grey is done at an extrusion temperature between 280 and 300°C, with a heated bed temperature between 25 and 50°C (maximum), and a printing speed of 60 to 70mm/s.
Since 3D printing glass fiber reinforced nylon is abrasive, we recommend using an abrasion-resistant nozzle such as the Solex3D Ruby nozzle. A standard nozzle may be completely damaged after just 100g of printed material.
To achieve the maximum properties of your 3D part, we recommend a 2-hour curing process in an oven.
For bed adhesion, we highly recommend using Magigoo Pro PA, specially designed for nylon filaments.
For printing complex geometries, we suggest using a dual extrusion 3D printer. In this case, a dedicated support material like Polydissolve from the same manufacturer should be preferred.
Finally, we recommend storing the filament in a dedicated box such as the PolyBox to prevent moisture absorption. If the filament has absorbed moisture, it should be dried at 80°C for 12 hours in a traditional oven.
This PA6-GF Grey filament is compatible with most 3D printers on the market and is available in 1.75mm and 2.85mm versions, as well as 500g and 2kg spools.
