Nanovia Flex VX 1.75mm - Virucidal flexible filament

With Flex VX filament you can easily design and manufacture flexible parts with high shock absorption capacities. This virucidal filament limits the risk of spreading biological contaminants and is ISO 21702:2019 certified.

Thanks to its active virucidal charge, this filament eliminates 95. 3% of the H1N1 virus after a contact time of just 1 hour, and almost 100% after 4 hours.

Flex VX from Nanovia is ideally suited to the design of flexible parts for everyday use and contact. Because it has excellent properties and is safe on skin contact, it is a natural choice for applications such as:

• Flexible handles and handle covers
• Made-to-measure soles
• Tactile pads
• Computer equipment covers, mice, keyboards
• Mask nose clips

The protection is long-lasting, as the virucidal active charge is introduced directly into the material itself. We recommend keeping the surface free of pollution and dust, and not applying varnish or paint.

Action on the Covid-19 of Nanovia Flex VX

To date, there are no certification standards to validate the action of this material on the virus. However, H1N1 and Covid-19 are structurally related.

How do you print this filament?

Nanovia Flex VX is a filament compatible with all 3D printers equipped with a 1.75mm extrusion and compatible with the recommendations for use below.

This filament requires an extrusion temperature of between 210 and 230°C. A heating plate that will enable you to obtain a constant plate temperature of between 20 and 40°C.

To ensure perfect printing, we recommend steaming your filament at 60°C for 4 hours or more when the spool has been exposed to the air for a long period.

It is not possible to sand Nanovia Flex VX.
