Nanovia PA Rail is a NF EN 45545-2 standard filament specifically designed for the rail sector, which complies with non-flammability and non-smoke emission standards. The polyamide (nylon) filament can be used to produce parts that can be printed at temperatures of up to 100°C without the need for a temperature-controlled chamber, in sensitive environments.

Use of PA Rail de Nanovia
This material, specifically designed for use in high-tech sectors such as railways, meets and complies with the criteria of standard NF EN 45545-2.
Based on standardised materials, it ensures safety in the event of fire by preventing the spread of smoke or flames. It ismade from polyamide (nylon) and ceramic flame retardants. Easy to print, it does not require a closed enclosure.
PA Rail is used for functional part applications such as electrical equipment controls, handles and buttons, armrests, etc.

Our recommendations for use with Nanovia PA Rail filament
The Nanovia PA Rail filament has an extrusion temperature ideally between 260 and 280°. A heating plate at 70°C to 80°C is recommended.
Nylon is sensitive to humidity, so we recommend that you store your spool in a dry place with a desiccant. If it has been exposed to humidity or open air, please steam your filament at 60°C for 4 hours or more.
Finally, the use of a printer with an air extraction or filtered enclosure is highly recommended.
