Usage of PLA-CF Royal Blue Bambu Lab

Bambu Lab's PLA-CF is a filament reinforced with carbon fibers, providing increased rigidity and strength compared to standard PLA. It is easy to print and suitable for beginners, while also being compatible with the AMS system.

Designed for fast printing, it has a low risk of clogging during high-speed printing. Printed objects have a matte finish with almost invisible layer lines, making it ideal for applications such as support parts, durable toys, or functional prototypes.

Specifications of PLA-CF Royal Blue Bambu Lab

Matte finish and minimized layer lines: The addition of carbon fibers gives prints a unique matte finish and effectively masks layer lines, offering a smooth and premium appearance.

Improved mechanical properties: Bambu Lab's PLA-CF surpasses matte PLA in terms of strength and flexural modulus, both in XY and Z axes. This makes it more suitable for printing models requiring increased resistance.

Dimensional stability during printing: PLA-CF has low shrinkage and warp resistance, ensuring perfect fit accuracy between printed parts.

Easy support removal: PLA-CF allows for easier removal of support structures compared to classic PLA while maintaining a smooth support surface.

Our Recommendations with PLA-CF Royal Blue Bambu Lab

For optimal use of Bambu Lab’s PLA-CF filament, it is recommended to set the extrusion temperature between 210 and 240 °C and the bed temperature between 35 and 45 °C. These settings ensure proper adhesion and optimal print quality.

PLA-CF is compatible with the AMS system and offers smooth high-speed printing (recommanded speed: <200mm/s) with a low risk of clogging (minimum 0.4mm nozzle, we recommend a 0.6mm steel nozzle).

For optimal results, it is advisable to store the filament in a dry environment and ensure the printer is properly calibrated before printing.
