Using PLA Glow Blue Bambu Lab
The PLA Glow from Bambu Lab is ideal for creative applications requiring a luminous touch. After a brief exposure to daylight or UV light, the filament stores energy and emits a fascinating luminescence in the dark.
This property makes it particularly suitable for making toys, decorative objects, or luminous jewelry.
To maintain the luminous effect, it is recommended to expose the printed object to sunlight or UV light for about two hours.
Specifications of PLA Glow Blue Bambu Lab
Luminescent properties: Enriched with luminescent powder, the filament glows in the dark after exposure to light, offering a unique aesthetic to your prints.
Ease of printing: Compatible with Bambu Lab printers, PLA Glow is easy to use, even for beginners, ensuring high-quality results.
Compatibility with the AMS system: The filament is compatible with Bambu Lab's AMS system, allowing efficient material management during printing.
Our recommendations for PLA Glow Blue Bambu Lab
For optimal use of Bambu Lab's PLA Glow, it is recommended to set the extrusion temperature between 190 and 230 °C and the bed temperature between 35 and 45 °C. A maximum speed of 250 mm/s is advised.
Due to the abrasive nature of the filament, the use of a reinforced nozzle is strongly recommended to prevent premature wear. It is also not recommended to use a 0.2 mm diameter nozzle.
Additionally, although the filament is compatible with the AMS system, Bambu Lab does not recommend its use with the AMS Lite, as the filament's hardness and roughness may cause faster wear of internal components.
