Bambu PAHT-CF is a composite of PA12 and carbon fibre. Benefiting from the low water absorption of PA12 and high performance carbon fibre, Bambu PAHT-CF offers excellent mechanical and thermal properties that can be maintained even when prints are wet. Higher Z-bond layers and flexibility make it ideal for creating engineering parts such as functional prototypes, machining fixtures, injection moulds, jigs and low-volume production parts.
Low water absorption: With 50% less water absorption than normal PA-CF, Bambu PAHT-CF retains excellent mechanical properties and dimensional stability even when exposed to high humidity.
Exceptional Z-bonding: Bambu PAHT-CF exhibits much higher adhesion in Z-layers than normal PA-CF, giving it the ability to withstand high levels of impact or stress without breaking or deforming.
High tensile strength: Bambu PAHT-CF is designed to meet the requirements of various industrial sectors and technical applications requiring high strength and durability.
RFID for intelligent printing: All printing parameters are integrated into the RFID chip, which can be read via our AMS (Automatic Material System) system. Load and print! No more tedious setting up.
The spool of PAHT-CF is fitted with a RFID chip that enables automatic detection of the filament by the AMS (Automatic Material System) system.
All the printing parameters are stored in this chip beforehand, which improves productivity. Bambu Lab recommends printing PAHT-CF with an extrusion temperature of between 260 and 290°C, a platen temperature (with adhesive) of between 80 and 100°C, and a maximum print speed of 100 mm/s.
