Bambu Lab ABS-GF is a glass-fibre reinforced ABS filament with improved mechanical and aesthetic properties. Compared with conventionalABS,ABS-GF offers greater strength, rigidity, temperature resistance and dimensional stability, while being less prone to warping and distortion. The glass fibre givesABS-GF a smooth matt finish with micro-points of gloss, blurring the lines of the coating. ABS-GF is ideal for mechanical parts and decorations because of its resistance to water and wear, its durability and its vibrant colours
Greater dimensional stability: The glass fibre reinforcement givesABS-GF greater dimensional stability than conventionalABS, minimising warping and distortion during printing. This makes it ideal for complex mechanical assembly parts or geometric components.
Fine matt finish: The seamless matt finish, combined with almost invisible layer lines, givesABS-GF a smooth appearance, making it ideal for decorative and fine-grained parts.
Water resistance and durability: With improved water resistance and durability, Bambu ABS-GF is ideal for printing long-life production and domestic items, such as mechanical housings, connectors and moulds.
RFID for intelligent printing: All printing parameters are integrated into the RFID chip, which can be read via our AMS (Automatic Material System) system. Load and print! No more tedious setting up.
TheABS-GF spool is fitted with an RFID chip that enables automatic detection of the filament by the AMS (Automatic Material System) system.
All the printing parameters are stored in this chip beforehand, which improves productivity. Bambu Lab recommends printingABS-GF with an extrusion temperature of between 240 and 270°C, a platen temperature (with adhesive) of between 80 and 100°C, and a maximum print speed of 180 mm/s.
