Made of nylon PA6 reinforced with 20% carbon fibers, it is ideal for manufacturing technical and industrial parts subjected to heavy loads and high temperatures.

With the addition of carbon fibers, this filament offers remarkable strength and exceptional wear resistance. It also exhibits low deformation during printing, ensuring precise results and dimensional stability. Whether for machine components, production parts, or tools, Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 is the optimal choice for demanding applications.

Printing Tips

  • Extrusion temperature: 280-300°C for optimal filament fusion.
  • Bed temperature: 40-50°C for good first layer adhesion.
  • Printing speed: up to 300 mm/s.
  • Recommended nozzle: Use a hardened steel or ruby nozzle to avoid wear from abrasive carbon fibers. Metal hotend required for printing above 280°C.
  • Storage: Keep the filament in a dry environment. If exposed to humidity, dry the filament before use (100°C for 10 hours in a standard oven or 18h at level 3 with the PolyDryer).
  • Post-print annealing: Annealing at 100°C for 10 hours improves the mechanical strength of parts.
