The Polymaker Fiberon™ PA612-CF15 filament is a hybrid material combining nylon PA612 with 15% carbon fibers, offering a combination of lightness, strength, and thermal stability. It is particularly suitable for demanding industrial applications, allowing the creation of functional parts requiring both high mechanical strength and optimal printing precision.

With the integration of carbon fibers, this filament stands out for its increased rigidity and remarkable wear resistance. It also minimizes warping during printing, ensuring solid and dimensionally stable parts. It is highly recommended for manufacturing mechanical components, moving parts, or tools in technical and industrial environments.

Printing Recommendations

  • Extrusion temperature: 250-300°C to ensure perfect material fusion.
  • Build plate temperature: 40-50°C to ensure good adhesion of the first layer.
  • Recommended nozzle: Use a hardened steel or ruby nozzle to prevent premature wear due to the carbon fibers present in the filament. A metal hotend is necessary for printing above 280°C.
  • Printing speed: Up to 300 mm/s.
  • Storage: Store the filament in a dry environment. If the environment is humid, dry the filament before use (100°C for 10 hours in a conventional oven or 18 hours at level 3 with the PolyDryer).
  • Post-print annealing: Annealing at 100°C for 10 hours improves the mechanical strength of the parts.
