The Polymaker Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 filament is a high-performance material designed for applications requiring extreme rigidity and maximum resistance to mechanical stress. Made of nylon PA6 reinforced with 20% carbon fibers, it is ideal for the production of technical and industrial parts subjected to heavy loads and high temperatures.

With the addition of carbon fibers, this filament offers remarkable strength and exceptional wear resistance. It also exhibits low deformation during printing, ensuring precise results and dimensional stability. Printing Tips

  • Extrusion temperature: 280-300°C for optimal filament fusion.
  • Bed temperature: 40-50°C for good first layer adhesion.
  • Printing speed: up to 300 mm/s.
  • Recommended nozzle: Use a hardened steel or ruby nozzle to prevent wear from abrasive carbon fibers. Metal hotend required for printing above 280°C.
  • Storage: Keep the filament in a dry environment. If exposed to humidity, dry the filament before use (100°C for 10 hours in a conventional oven or 18 hours at level 3 with the PolyDryer).
  • Post-print annealing: Annealing at 100°C for 10 hours improves the mechanical strength of the parts.
