Nanovia PC-CF, a polycarbonate filament with high heat resistance
The Nanovia PC -CF filament has been specially developed to combine the high rigidity of polycarbonate and its high heat resistance (120°C)with all the advantages of carbon fibre. Nanovia 's PC-CF contains carbon fibre, which simplifies printing and enhances its technical and mechanical properties.
What's more, Nanovia PC -CF is fire and UV resistant, making it a filament that can be used outdoors or in rather extreme environments.
The strengths of PC-CF Nanovia
Good fire resistance: Polycarbonate provides very good resistance to fire and heat.
High temperature resistance (120°C): Nanovia 's PC-CF can withstand temperatures of around 120°C, making it an ideal filament for use in hot and extreme environments.
UV-resistant: The addition of carbon fibre gives this Nanovia PC -CF filament good UV resistance, among other benefits.
Our advice for printing Nanovia PC -CF
It is advisable to store your spools in a dry place, if possible with desiccant. To ensure perfect printing, it is advisable to heat your filament at 100°C for 4 hours or more, when the spool has been exposed to the open air for a long period.
As PC is a technical material, we recommend that you at least use a closed printing enclosure equipped with air filtration or extraction. We also recommend the use of a reinforced nozzle for abrasive materials.
