Nanovia ABS-CF: a professional technical filament
Nanovia ABS -CF is a 3D filament made fromABS and carbon fibres. ABS is widely used in industry for manufacturing parts requiring high mechanical and thermal properties.
This filament for the Nanovia ABS -CF 3D printer has all the advantages ofABS. Carbon fibres strengthen this material and give it even greater mechanical resistance. It also makes it easier to printABS by reducing warping.
Nanovia ABS-CF: Key strengths
Mechanical strength superior to nativeABS : Made from carbon fibre, this ABS from Nanovia delivers exceptional mechanical strength for a ABS filament.
Adhesion to the board: Its carbon fibre-based composition greatly reduces the warping effect seen on standard ABS.
Thermal resistance: The thermal resistance ofABS is around 100°C, so this Nanovia ABS -CF filament is much more thermally resistant than PLA or PETG.
Advice on using the Nanovia ABS -CF filament
This ABS base material requires the same care as a traditional ABS. However, it is less sensitive to delamination, which is the most restrictive phenomenon when printingABS without a heated enclosure.
We recommend using a suitable adhesive, a closed enclosure, a platen temperature of over 90°C and a steel nozzle to get the full performance from this ABS carbon composite.
