Using the Ultrafuse PLA Pro1 filament BASF

The PLA PRO1 White filament from BASF is a PLA with superior characteristics to the classic version. It has been specifically developed to combine the ease of use of PLA with the mechanical performance of the best thermoplastics.

Not only does this PLA filament offer superior mechanical performance toABS, it also enables high-speed printing. This BASF Ultrafus3D PLA Pro1 White filament is an excellent choice for technical and visual applications. The versatility of this material is quite rare and will meet many expectations. Suitable for all 3D printers, it is accessible to everyone without the need for special equipment.

Ultrafuse PLA Pro1 White: key strengths

Versatility: PLA Pro 1 filament is a material developed specifically for high-speed 3D printing. Print speeds > 100 mm/s are suitable for this filament. If you want to get the maximum mechanical properties, you can reduce the speed to increase the results. This is the real advantage of this multi-tasking 3D filament.

Performance: The mechanical properties of this PLA reinforced Pro1 offer the rigidity of a PLA but the impact resistance of a ABS. Thanks to its excellent interlayer bonding, this enhanced PLA is an excellent choice for demanding applications. The only drawback is that its temperature resistance is still lower than that of its counterpart ABS.

Simplicity: This PLA Pro1 filament benefits from the ease of use of this family of PLA filaments. Low sensitivity to delamination, low temperature requirements, suitable for all 3D printers including the most affordable. This filament is both high-performance and technically very simple to print.

Our recommendations for use with BASF Ultrafuse PLA Pro1 White

This PLA Pro1 White filament has a wide extrusion temperature range, the aim of which is to adapt the viscosity of this filament to the print speed set. For high-speed printing (>100mm/s), use the high range: 220-230°C, whereas to maximise strength or appearance, reduce both speed and temperature.

Good platen adhesion, no particular abrasion of your nozzle, variable ventilation, few if any drawbacks to using this 3D printing filament PLA Pro 1.
