Use of the Ultrafuse PET CF15 filament
The Ultrafuse® PET CF15 filament is an engineering filament optimised to enable users to develop new 3D printing applications with higher requirements. With its superior heat resistance, high strength and stiffness, this filament is suitable for a wide range of demanding industrial applications. Its high dimensional stability and very low moisture absorption make it a perfect solution for applications in humid operating environments.
This engineered filament is easier to process than other carbon fibre reinforced filaments. Users will be able to 3D print new components that remain fully functional under higher mechanical and thermal loads.
It works in any filament 3D printer equipped with a reinforced nozzle.
In addition, Ultrafuse PET CF15 is compatible with BVOH, the water-soluble carrier material and HIPS, making it possible to print complex geometries that work in harsh environments.

Our recommendations for use with BASF Ultrafuse PET CF15
BASF 's Ultrafuse PET CF15 filament is easy to print. Youneed a 3D printer that can extrude the filament at between 250 and 270°C at a speed of between30 and 80mm/s. The platen must be heated to between 65 and 85°C. BASF recommends using a light layer of glue to protect the platen during printing.
