ABS-CF Nanovia is a 3D filament made fromABS and carbon fibres. ABS is widely used in industry for manufacturing parts requiring high mechanical and thermal properties.
This filament for the ABS-CF Nanovia 3D printer has all the advantages ofABS. Carbon fibres strengthen this material and give it even greater mechanical resistance. It also makes it easier to printABS by reducing warping.
ABS-CF Nanovia: Key strengths
Mechanical strength superior to nativeABS : Made from carbon fibre, this ABS from Nanovia delivers exceptional mechanical strength for a ABS filament.
Adhesion to the board: Its carbon fibre-based composition greatly reduces the warping effect seen on standard ABS.
Thermal resistance: The thermal resistance ofABS is around 100°C, so this ABS-CF Nanovia filament is much more thermally resistant than PLA or PETG.
Advice on using ABS-CF filament Nanovia
This ABS base material requires the same care as a traditional ABS. However, it is less sensitive to delamination, which is the most restrictive phenomenon when printingABS without a heated enclosure.
We recommend using a suitable adhesive, a closed enclosure, a platen temperature of over 90°C and a steel nozzle to get the full performance from this ABS carbon composite.
